The company was founded as IT Computer Systems in the UK in 2000 to provide a consultancy for businesses and individuals wishing to take advantage of new media and communication technologies.
The two founders Guy Hornsby and Mike Gray were pioneers in the use of computer technology in commercial broadcasting in the UK during the 1990s. They created two major radio stations in the UK, Kiss 102 and Kiss 105 which used hard disk digital production and playout technology and were the first stations in the country to have their own internet sites.
This experience was used to provide consultancy and project management services for new radio stations as well as the development of major internet sites for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the British Film Institute, the Riverside Studios in London, and a host of prestigious individual clients.
In August 2004 the founding partners formed a new associate company Out Europe BV based in Amsterdam to better provide consultancy and management services to clients in Western Europe.
